After a long school holiday due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the schools in Nepal are gradually opening maintaining the strict protection mechanism. It was nearly 10 months that the children were in their homes. Karuna Care is glad to facilitate the opening of the school especially for where the Karuna's sponsored children go.

Karuna sponsors the children from the neediest communities and helps the street and children that begs in the street to go to school. It puts a lot of effort to convince the parents and also assist the parents to generate income for their families.

Karuna Care admitted 15 children (from a slum community who used to beg in the street) today and provided school uniforms. It also counseled few parents to send their children to school.

The Karuna Care provided food relief during the time of strict nation-wide lockdown because most of the families are the daily wage laborers (former beggars) The Covid-19 pandemic have made most of these parents jobless but now slowly they have started to work again. Few of them have again gone to beg in the street.

There are more than 50 children in this community that need our urgent help. Karuna Care appreciates for the continuous support and prayers.
